The writers collective is a group designed to aid new writers at any stage of their careers to develop their work, or to share their expertise with others.  Writing can be a very lonely and isolated process.  We aim to provide a sounding board, a support network and also social tool to keep the energy and passion alive though the lifetime of a piece. And, best of all, this is free.
 
We welcome writers from anywhere in the world. We provide proof-reading services and also a chance for one member of the writers collective to have their work produced by Upstage Left each year. We do not buy scripts but do come to financial arrangements with the writers (i.e profit shares or box office splits).
