Needs Must

In these dark economic times you have to make do with what you’ve got. With a pile of paper and some old sheets, two actors take on all the roles in this inventive comedy. We see a married couple and a pair of work colleagues muddle through whilst the government balls it up again.

Really?

A Belgian Fame Academy?

Needs Must.

Loud Mouse Theatre Company
Loud Mouse theatre was formed in 2009 as a partnership between Nikolai Calcoen and Rachel Kerrison. They are both quite funny.

Rachel Kerrison
After Training as an actor at Bretton Hall, Rachel got a “proper Job” and as an engineering consultant. She wasn’t very good at it on account of not being an engineer. Thankfully she was approached by Upstage Left to develop new writing. Rachel finally stopped procrastinating and jumped at the chance… and then jumped on Nikolai and Loud Mouse Theatre was born. In between acting as an engineering consultant, Rachel has done stand-up comedy, dark clowning and currently also sings with a soul band.

Nikolai Calcoen
After leaving Bretton Nikolai resisted the urge to get a “proper job” and became a jobbing actor. After a lot of TIE tours, drama workshops and even more sitting, Rachel finally saw the light and together they decided to set up Loud Mouse Theatre. In between sitting Nikolai has also been known to do some open mic guitaring.
