Steve has aided in the directing of several performances such 'Oedipus Rex' & Ibsen’s 'A dolls House'. It was whilst working on the latter of these productions he became involved in poetry touring.

Working within this area Steve found his niche, he found himself more comfortable in Arts Management, planning, budgeting and co-ordinating tours/performances. When Steve met his now wife Nikki, he moved to Manchester, where he took those skills into the workplace and developed a career through business management and consultancy.He also utilised his previous delivery skills as a Management Trainer.

After his son Charlie was born he relocated with his family back to his roots in Lincoln. Once again looking to further his skills and develop his passion for the Arts, he founded Upstage Left (a long term venture) with his lifelong friend Stuart McPherson.

As both a writer and a theatre lover he is looking forward to providing Lincoln with a wave of new theatrical experiences.
