Company Manifesto

Sara Bullimore
Business Manager

Sara has been involved in the arts since a young age, mainly in the field of dance, theatre and writing. She continued her love for the arts by completing a BA (Hons) Creative Arts degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in dance and writing and has now been working in the industry for over ten years.

During this time her career has been varied and included time working in Dance Agencies in Nottingham and London on the development of professional artistic and educational programmes as well as utilising her organisation skills in arts and project management. During this time she also undertook an Arts Management qualification and a BA (Hons) Literature building on her love of books and plays.

In 2003 Sara started work as the Arts & Cultural Sector Officer for the City of Lincoln Council, which allowed her to work on a range of exciting projects including dance and theatre programmes, the setting up of a City Arts Forum, writing arts strategies, organising music concerts and organising and directing the Lincoln Book Festival. She was also one of the East Midlands representatives for the National Association for Local Government Arts Officers.

Sara has recently started a freelance career, working on the development of different artistic projects and is very much looking forward to working with Upstage Left as their Business Manager during this very exciting time.
